SEN SA signs AFL talent from Port Adelaide & the Crows

Staff Writer

SEN South Australia’s 1629 has signed Port Adelaide player Zak Butters as well as Daniel Talia from the Adelaide Crows to join its team.

The duo will join Michelangelo Rucci and Kym Dillon on Monday afternoons for the Kymbo & Rooch program to review the prior weekend’s games.

On Thursdays, Port Adelaide ruckman Scott Lycett and Crows midfielder Rory Laird will appear on Kymbo & Rooch to preview the upcoming round.

And every Friday, an assistant coach from both the Crows and Port will appear on the show.

The station is also bringing back AFL Nation to deliver listeners all the live action from the AFL season. The call team will be spearheaded by Kane Cornes, Malcolm Blight, Dwayne Russell, Kym Dillon and Miles Pfitzner, with support from SEN’s chief sports caller Gerard Whateley, Anthony Hudson, Daisy Pearce, Robert Murphy, Jordan Lewis, Nick Dal Santo, Adam Cooney, Andy Maher, Liam Pickering and Paul Hasleby.

Cornes said it’s a thrill to be back with such an amazing team, while SEN’s group commercial director, Alisha Whelan, said Adelaide audiences were already loving the local sports content on the station.

“We can’t wait for the footy season to get started and to give our listeners the inside word from some of the stars of the game – plus all the movers, shakers and agenda-setters in sport here in Adelaide,” she added.
