Second radio host has Rolf Harris claims

A second Perth radio host has claimed she was groped by Rolf Harris.

Verity James told WAtoday she and another female colleague at 720 ABC were ‘felt up’ by the entertainer following an interview with him in either the late 1990s or early 2000s.

She said she referred to the entertainer as ‘The Octopus’.

James, who is now a freelance broadcaster following a long stint on air at 720 ABC, claims Harris touched her inappropriately after finishing a pre-recorded interview.

“He kind of pushes you up against a wall in a big hug, grabbing at the buttocks and rubbing on your breasts,” James told WAtoday.

Yesterday, former Perth radio host Jane Marwick told 6PR she was groped while posing for a post-interview photo. Read more here.

Harris is on trial in the UK, accused of indecently assaulting four girls.
