Scott Menz departs SCA Brisbane

Triple M Brisbane’s CD, Scott Menz has decided to leave SCA after 9 years.

Menz joined the NOVA network in 2013, beginning his time at SCA at SAFM before moving to Triple M, laying down his roots at Triple M Brisbane.

“After leading the content team for over 2 years, and the years producing and on air before, I feel I’ve accomplished my professional goals with SCA, and now is the time to take the next step outside of the company,” said Menz.

Last November, Scott celebrated 20 years in radio. He has panelled, voiced, and led shows. Identified and grown talent, created shows, and worked passionately to engage audiences and content teams alike.

“Along the journey I’ve been lucky to work with amazing teams to create some outstanding, and sometimes life-changing, moments on radio,” said Menz.

“From the superstars in my team, to the support and guidance from great mentors in the group, I am truly grateful for my time at SCA and the relationships I’ve built with these people. Triple M is truly the best radio brand in the world, with life-long loyal fans, it was a pleasure to be a small part of this network.”

On his journey, Scott spoke with RadioToday in 2018 when he became the Music Director at Triple M Brisbane, saying, “You’re not entitled to anything, work for it.”

Scott will be finishing up with SCA on Friday 11th February. He will be replaced by Jamie Angel.

They need to put a woman into this role if they really want to increase ratings
