Roll on, ACRAs. Another big week awaits for B105

After a dominant showing in GfK Survey 6, the team at Brisbane’s B105 now eagerly awaits next week’s ACRAs.

B105 is among those vying for the coveted title of Australia’s Best Station.

“This is the first time a Brisbane radio station has ever been nominated in this category,” says B105 Content Director Jack Ball.

In the latest survey book, B105 secured overall top spot for the 6th consecutive survey – also winning the Breakfast and Drive shifts – while SCA stablemate 104.5 Triple M Brisbane holds down the #2 spot overall.

Stav, Abby & Matt continue to lead the charge in Breakfast, a feat that Ball likens to last week’s AFL premiership result.

“Just like the Brisbane Lions’ Grand Final win, Stav, Abby and Matt have dominated another radio survey in the brekky time slot.”

“We’re thankful to the entire B105 team and our listeners, partners and clients who make this station great.”

“Now we look ahead to the Australian Commercial Radio Awards next week.”

“We’re proud to be recognised amongst the country’s best stations for the ACRAs and we do believe we’ve got every shot at winning it. Stav, Abby and Matt have had an incredible year.  We celebrated the Survey 6 win and are back focused on delivering in the remaining 8 weeks of the survey year.
Ball says the Best Station nomination is a representation of each person at the core of this team, and the journey they’ve been on to return B105 to its heritage glory days.
“The B105 team has seven nominations this year. We’ll enjoy a night out with our peers and celebrate the achievements of the whole industry. Hopefully, a few of those trophies have B105 written on them.”
