Nova listeners ‘hang out’

The Nova Network launched its live performance brand 'The Red Room' earlier this year, and the next event will be tomorrow, and this one will utilise the Google+ technology.

Pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen (right) will play live in 'The Red Room', and have it streamed via a Hangout on Google+.

This technology will enable her fans around the country to log on, watch the performance live, and for nine competition winners have the opportunity to ask her questions directly. The event commences at 4pm AEST tomorrow, and listeners are able to logon at novafm.com.au at that time.

The technology is the same that MCM launched their Google+ Hangout feature with through Take 40 Australia a few weeks ago (here), and DMG have been using it as part of the evening show with Kent Small.

DMG Radio plan to continue to incorporate Google+ Hangouts as part of their on air and digital programming throughout 2012.
