Mount Gambier desert survivor tells Mitchell & Michael how she did it

Hit96.1 Limestone Coast’s Breakfast team Mitchell and Michael spoke with a local Mt Gambier women who survived six days in the desert.

Brooke Phillips got her car bogged in the Australian Outback recently, with only limited supplies.

She told Mitchell and Michael how she survived with little more than pasta sauce and two-minute noodles, and how was forced to drink her own urine on the last days before she was rescued.

“In the last couple of days I got a bit panicky, but I suppose I could have lasted a few more days,” she laughed.
