MKR winners drop into Bundaberg

Earlier this week the winners of MKR, Dan and Steph, made an appearance at HITZ 939 in Bundaberg.

The breakfast team, Tracey and Pete, decided to move their show to the reception area of the station and they invited locals to come and say hi to the reality TV stars.

While on-air, Dan read the local weather and Steph brought in some of her Grand Final Winning brownies.

Pete from the breakfast show said: “Getting this down to earth lovely couple into the studio was an opportunity we couldn’t and wouldn’t pass up, it’s such a great local success story”. Tracey agreed saying, “The response from kids to Mums and Dads was astounding, listeners and fans lined up for autographs and photos with Dan and Steph throughout the morning”

Hitz 939 GM Trish Mears said: “We have been delighted to support Dan and Steph and are so proud of our very own Wide Bay team taking out the big prize."

The station plan to bring Dan and Steph back to Bundaberg to help re-open Hinkler Central, the major local shopping Centre that has been closed since the floods earlier this year.
