Mick Molloy bought his own photo after being ‘papped’

On the first show back of the year, Triple M’s Mick Molloy has admitted to buying his own photos off the paparazzi the first time he got sprung out in public.

Talking about the run-in this morning on Triple M’s Mick & MG in the Morning, Mick detailed what he called “a private moment between a man and his Burrito” when he was caught off guard by a photographer taking photos of him during a bite to eat.

“The one and only time I’ve really been ‘papped’, I was papped in Bondi, eating a burrito,” he said.

“Listen to me paparazzi, it was a total invasion of my privacy . . . it was a private moment between a man and a burrito.”

“Do you want to know the saddest bit about the story? Someone told me – I think from The Daily Telegraph – told me this photo is being shopped around, but no one bought it. So for me to show it on the TV show, I had to buy it! It was $70 bucks!”
