Matt Tilley Off-Air

KIIS 101.1’s Matt Tilley is Off-Air after being taken out by a car while cycling Tuesday arvo.

Matt went for his normal afternoon road ride and was hit by a car along Beach Road on the Bay.

Reports are that Matt is doing well at the Alfred Hospital and it appears he got lucky as he is only battered and bruised along with a few stitches.

This is the second time Matt has been hit by a car while riding his bike. In 2011 he was hit riding in St Kilda, fracturing two vertebrae, a rib as well as bruising his kidney.

No word yet when he will back On-Air with Meshel Laurie on Breakfast. Get well soon Matt and back on your bike!
