Hot Tomato’s continued focus on delivering relevant, local content is being credited for its success, after its strong showing in the first Gold Coast survey for 2022.

Hot Tomato claimed the market’s #1 position across all key demos and dayparts. With a 16.0 share (up from 13.8) and more than 210,00 listeners (up from 190,000) this is Hot Tomato’s sixth consecutive winning survey in a row.

Hot Tomato Content Director Brendon Dangar says the results further demonstrate that focusing on meaningful, local content is critical to grow and maintain audiences on the Gold Coast.

Galey, Emily Jade & Christo along with Moyra & Big Trev don’t just speak to the GC, they’re part of it. That’s what again has led to such an enduring and powerful connection with the audience.”

ARN’s CEO Ciaran Davis says: “These incredible results demonstrate the strength of ARN’s audio content across both Metro and Regional, further cementing ARN as the #1 Radio Network in Australia

“Our continued growth on the Gold Coast, along with evolutions of the medium such as the recently launched DAB+ network, make us a compelling choice for national advertisers.  Our live and local content in all markets demonstrates that we are better placed than any other audio provider to deliver innovative commercial solutions and the business outcomes that our clients seek.”
