Kyle Sandilands gifts $20K to fund Mildura Hospital neonatal incubator
Kyle Sandilands couldn’t make the weekend’s ACRAs where he and KIIS1065 won a swag of awards. He did happen to catch Paul Murray on Sky News, who once a month goes around the country immersing himself in local towns and communities.
This month it was Mildura and specifically Murray campaigned his audience for very personal reasons to fund a baby incubator for Mildura Base Public Hospital.
When Kyle tuned in the tally was around $5k. Sandilands knew that wasn’t going to be enough and sent Murray a message to the effect of “put me down for $20K”.
This morning the private donation became public in a great radio moment showing why Sandilands deserves his ACRA award for Best Individual Presenter.
Any other Kyle and Jackie news around this week or have they not sent the press release?
People can say some bad stuff about Kyle but that donation puts him right up there in my view. Well done.
If he’s making $10,000,000 plus a year he’s just donated 0.002% of his salary. I’m making $55,000 a year that’s like me donating $110.
Gotta love this industry – Kyle gifts $20k to a children’s charity and 2 of the 3 comments are negative.
Then donate your $110 Tony, put up or shut up!
Why do we continuously knock people who do good in this country.
