Kyle and Jackie O: The Real Reason We Left

WHO magazine are about to release their year-end Best and Worst of 2013 issue that features the Most Intriguing People of the year.

One entry is Kyle & Jackie O.

In the article they open up for the first time on leaving 2Day FM.

"We wanted something new and exciting," the duo reveal.

Kyle and Jackie tell WHO they weren’t happy with the direction their show was heading at SCA and that's why they decided to leave.

“We really had to say, ‘Do we still want to be with these dorks, or do we move on to something better?,’” says Kyle. Jackie adds: “We saw changes that probably weren’t in line with where we wanted to go.”

Jackie also tells the mag their new KIIS 1065 show “will be the same Kyle and Jackie O show that people have always listened to, but freshened up."

She also opened up about their departure, saying: “It’s been my job since I was 19, so it was home and all I knew. It’s like walking into the unknown, and it’s scary.”

Kyle doesn't agree, saying: “We’ve made the greatest move ever. A big, history-making move – there’s no regrets."
