Journey complete: Gabi & Dan wrap up marathon public transport adventure

They’ve done it.

The hosts of ACE Radio’s network breakfast show, The Morning Crew with Gabi & Dan, have successfully completed their 17+ hour journey on public transport.

The pair put the State Government’s $9.20 daily capped V/Line fares to the test, embarking on the longest journey possible within the state of Victoria … Mildura to Mallacoota.

Gabi and Dan’s epic adventure began on Wednesday night, with a seven hour coach trip to Ballarat.

At Ballarat Station Gabi remarked “I’ve got a sore back. And you snored. A lot!”

“Yeah, you elbowed me!” Dan retorted. “The only time I got into a deep sleep and you elbowed me.”

Suffice to say, they arrived safely at their destination in the coastal town of Mallacoota, and with time to spare.
