Josiah Shala to anchor Fifi, Fev & Nick
Former co-host of the Josiah & Elly show on The Goulburn Valley’s Hit 96.9, Josiah Shala, has a new gig.
Shala’s regional Breakfast program was cut when Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) made the decision to syndicate one Breakfast show per state to most regional stations. In Victoria, Hit 104.9’s Tim & Jess was the show to survive.
Shala, however, has landed on his feet and will now be based in Melbourne as the anchor for Fox FM’s new Breakfast show Fifi, Fev & Nick.
Last year, the show’s anchor was Byron Cook, who also featured on the billing when the show was known as Fifi, Fev & Byron.
Cook then departed to make way for comedian and former Triple M Brisbane Breakfast co-host, Nick Cody.
The newly created Fifi, Fev & Nick show has been trialling various anchors since its inception, and Shala said he was beyond excited to get the gig.
Congrats Josiah!
Well done, Josiah. Took a big gamble moving to Shepparton and it paid off. I just wish he wasn’t so handsome.
Well done mate!!!
