Staff Writer

iHeartRadio has been operating in Australia for 9 months and today ARN have released the platforms first lot of results. They outline unique visitors, its monthly audience, registered users, total streaming hours, the demographics who are using it and more (see all the stats below).

Head of iHeartRadio, Geraint Davies says: “We have seen our best growth in registrations since launch, driven by the recent iHeartRadio LIVE Kylie Minogue and Ed Sheeran events held in Melbourne and Sydney.

"We want to continue to create as many opportunities as possible for iHeartRadio customers to physically interact with the brand, the music and artists they love."

A recent iHeartRadio app update includes talk radio and also has audio ads that can be synchronized with the relevant display ads allowing click through to advertiser sites.

iHeartRadio have also announced its own Australian music news station run by Noise11.com. This will have exclusive artist interviews, songs, PR facts, and exclusive live performances from artists making the news that week.
