I Choo Choo Choose You: K rock’s Tim & Jess play cupid in Geelong

Love was certainly in the air at Geelong last week, when K rock 95.5’s Drive team Tim and Jess played cupid on the Love Train.

Last Friday the Tim and Jess Show put a creative spin on matchmaking, with their unique Valentine’s Day event called I Choo Choo Choose You.

Hijacking a miniature train on the picturesque Geelong waterfront, it set the scene for a fun and unique singles speed dating event.

The event featured 5 women and 5 men, all hoping to find love as they took part in a fast-paced ride on the miniature train.

The results were heartening, with a 77.7% success rate of matches on the night.

Before the event kicked off, Tim and Jess broadcast their show live from the miniature train, taking laps up and down the waterfront for 3 hours on Friday afternoon.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better turnout,” said Tim. “It was amazing seeing the chemistry between people and knowing we played a part in making those connections happen.”
