Hughesy returns to Nova with Langbroek, Helliar

It’s almost survey break… and at Nova, Dave “Hughesy” Hughes will host the national breakfast show, in all cap cities except Perth.

Starting Monday, Hughes and former radio partner Kate Langbroek will be on air together for a week.

Then for another week, Hughes will be joined by comedian Peter Helliar.

Hughes said, “I can't wait to reunite with the gorgeous Kate Langbroek for a week of fury and then catch up with old buddy Pete Helliar to see him bookend his day with Nova and The Project like I used to.”

Hughes was co-host of Nova 100’s Hughesy & Kate breakfast show for 12 years but recently returned to stand up comedy.

He will fill in for two weeks for Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa in Sydney, Melbourne’s Meshel & Tommy and Adelaide’s Lewis & Lowe.

Brisbane listeners will enjoy one week of Hughesy & Kate with Ash, Kip & Luttsy returning on 7 July.

Nova 937 Perth listeners will enjoy Nova’s Nathan, Nat and Shaun Re-heated for the two week break.
