Sydney radio station Hope 103.2 held their annual appeal last month to raise money to stay on-air.

Listeners and supporters donated $792,632 that will go towards the cost of running the station.

CEO Phillip Randall said:

“Hope 103.2 has always aimed to be a radio station that cares about our community… and the community have once again shown us how much they want this service to continue and grow.”

“Throughout the appeal, our listeners shared on a very personal level about how much they are helped each day through our positive music, lifestyle segments, and telephone counselling service."

The money raised will help Hope 103.2 lease a satellite channel for delivery of syndicated content to other Christian stations, as well as being able to broadcast to remote areas via satellite.
