Billy Healy from 4BU (right in pic) has been recognised for the work he does to support local Bundaberg businesses and community groups. At the Business Excellence Awards on the weekend he walked away with the Bundaberg Chamber President’s Award.

Chamber President Yale Morgan said, “This year, I chose Billy Healy for the President’s Award, because I was interested in both business and community, rather than just looking at an individual’s business contribution."

"Based on the last 12 months, particularly after the floods, Billy, along with Bundaberg Broadcasters, has worked tirelessly on community support plus contributing to the greater business community. Through his program 'Wide Bay Today', Billy has excelled in bringing the message to the people, that we are open for business!"

Bundaberg Broadcasters’ GM Trish Mears said, “We are very proud of the great work Billy does through 4BU’s Wide Bay Today as well as his work in the community."
