Ellie Angel-Mobbs celebrates 18 years at SCA

December held more than just Christmas celebrations for Ellie Angel-Mobbs, who last month notched up eighteen years with Southern Cross Austereo.

Ellie shared on LinkedIn:

“I joined Austereo in Perth at 92.9 as Mornings Announcer and Assistant Breakkie Producer! I scored my dream gig at 2DayFM Sydney hosting workdays for over a decade. I now call the amazing B105 Brisbane home as Assistant Content Director & Workday Announcer.”

During nearly two decades at SCA, Ellie has hosted #1 shows at 2DayFM and B105, has won four ACRAs and hosted rooftop gigs for artists including Katy Perry, Kesha, Ed Sheeran and Avril Lavigne.

Other highlights include creating radio specials raising awareness about endometriosis, mentoring upcoming talent and meeting her husband, radio great Jamie Angel.

In November, Jamie himself celebrated 35 with Austereo/SCA.

That’s a total of 43 years between them!
