“Disgraced” tag sticks?

Howard Sattler is taking another tilt at Fairfax management, claiming fresh legal action against 6PR over the “disgraced” tag.

Speaking with Today Tonight:

"I've been 262 times exactly in online and newspaper reports referred to as disgraced, which puts me in the same category as people like Craig Thomson, the notorious former Labor minister in NSW Eddie Obeid and now Rolf Harris," Howard said.

Howard called 6PR home for 28 years, but had his contract terminated last year after an interview with our then Prime Minister Julia Gillard. You can relive the moment here if you like.

In a writ lodged last month, Howard Sattler’s lawyers called 6PR management's conduct "grossly defamatory" and asked for damages and costs.
