Chris Smith joins TNT Radio for afternoon show
Controversial broadcaster Chris Smith has joined TNT Radio for a Monday to Friday afternoon show, just months after being sacked from 2GB.
TNT Radio is a global 24/7 talk station with hosts from Australia, the US, Canada, the UK, Mexico, South Africa and even Donbas in Ukraine.
On Mondays, Chris will be joined by Alan Jones from 3:10pm to give their take on events in Australia and around the world.
Smith was shown the door by 2GB at the end of last year after a series of turbulent events surrounding the work Christmas party.
Speaking with Radio Today, Chris said the opportunity with TNT Radio came up through a chance encounter with “a mate from the media” while in rehab.
“It’s ironic really. There I was in rehab in December last, and I met a mate from the media. He was there for alcohol abuse,” Smith said.
“After I left the facility, I came back weeks later because I’d heard he was leaving too. I just wanted to wish him luck on his mission to take grog out of his life.”
“As we shared a cuppa, he told me about TNT and the fact they were scouring the country for talkback hosts.”
“The content will be big-issue territory… world politics, govt control, Ukraine, vaccines, climate alarmism, Pacific security, China, Russia… and all the big stories from Australia too,” Smith said.
“As for AJ, he is so informed and so opinionated, he’ll be diving into the global news, the culture wars, The Voice, superannuation lies and whatever he’s fired up about. I am so grateful for his loyal support and his role in my new show.”
“I’m a bit nervous already, but prepared enough to be confident. Let the games begin.”
Smith’s Monday to Friday show begins at 2:00pm Queensland time and the Monday show featuring Jones will start from 3:10pm Queensland time.
Eek – just checked out what TNT Radio’s all about and had a look at the other presenters and sponsors. It’s funded by companies that are anti vaccine, anti 5G, anti fluoride, anti psychiatric medicines, anti Soros, anti Rockefeller, pro-9/11 was an inside job theory, the list goes on. I’m all for freedom of speech so I’m not advocating for the platform to be removed or anything like that, I’m just a little surprised Chris would associate himself with TNT Radio.
I listened and enjoyed but don’t see how people from USA or UK would be interested in our stuff in Australia – but they are probably in bed asleep. Given that Eek is correct in his appraisal of TNT and their beliefs – well, these beliefs become subjects to discuss – so that is not necessarily a problem. Wonder who the other presenters are?….

Perhaps MW a little research would help instead of an unfounded slur from your part. You see, what we are endeavouring to do Mr Eek is to replicate Journalism as it was many years ago. You know tell it as it is and tell the truth, and not parrot a media release from Government. There is only the truth and all else is just an opinion. Thank you for your opinion.

You do know I got all of that information from going to your very own website, clicking on ‘Partners’ and simply reading what was published, right? I’d encourage anyone wondering who’s telling the truth here to do exactly what I did and see whether anything I said was factually incorrect.
Also – if you don’t believe you guys are peddling nonsense conspiracies, then how come on the 18th of February during the ‘Greg Stenstrom State of the Nation’ show did the host say he’s got an author coming on who (and I 100% vebatim quote) “…unequivocally proves how the 2020 election was stolen.”
Give it a break, mate. You guys are on a whole different level.

I stopped listening to 2GB after they sacked Jonesy and went ‘woke’.
Anyone who gives Alan or Chris a voice gets my ears.
At the moment I only listen to Chris and it’s great to hear him back on the airwaves again,

Dear MW, we do ‘partner’ with them. But at no stage are funded by them. What we are saying is factually correct. Masks do not work. The ‘vaccine’ is not safe and effective. More and more evidence shows Government was highly deceptive with pandemic.

Mike, we don’t agree with you, but have published this due to our belief in hearing all sides, even if we think they are wrong. In Australia we are lucky to be able to publish many views. In other countries this is not the case.

Just discovered this radio site while trying to find out something about Chris Smith. Glad I was introduced to the mind of Mike Ryan.
That tells me all I need to know about the station.

Look at the schedule, then Google each name. There’s something fishy about almost all of them – stooges for Putin and Trump, hate speech, they’ve got it all covered.
To those “brain dead” people making stupid comments, I would like to say “Chris Smith has ALWAYS told the truth”, “Alan Jones has ALWAYS told the truth” and they always will.
