Brisbane ABC evacuated due to flooding
Severe rain has flooded the Brisbane CBD and resulted in the evacuation of ABC staff Brisbane.
Journalist Jessica van Vonderen and other ABC staff were forced to spend the night at the Brisbane office after floodwater met the steps to the building, blocking their exit.
“Will I get home tonight?” said Jessica.

The water showed no signs of easing before all staff were evacuated this morning.
“So a few of us got stuck inside the ABC building at South Bank last night. This is the view this morning. Water lapping at the front steps,” wrote Jessica via Twitter.

Have the ABC blamed Scott Morrison for the rain yet?
