Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project enters Podcast Ranker at #30

Staff Writer

Hamish Blake and Andy Lee’s PodcastOne offering The Remembering Project has entered the Australian Podcast Ranker at #30 across all ranked podcasts, and #23 for Australian-made titles.

The podcast is a look back on some of the duo’s radio moments from over 2,500 shows based on random run sheets and their recollections of what may have happened.

It launched on October 12 with episodes released each Monday and Tuesday. It will run until December 15, with season two coming out in early 2021.

Blake and Lee also continue their other podcast Hamish & Andy, which is released on Thursdays.

Hamish & Andy maintained its #3 spot in the charts from last month, making it #2 in the Australian ranking.

The #1 spot overall stayed with the iHeartPodcast Network’s Stuff You Should Know, while Audioboom’s Casefile True Crime was second.

The Kyle & Jackie O Show from ARN remained the most popular radio catch-up show, at #5 on the list.

The biggest mover on this month’s list was Sports Entertainment Network’s (SEN) AFL Trade Radio which benefitted from the wrap up of the much-delayed 2020 AFL season.

It jumped 45 spots to #7 overall. On the Aussie-only list, it was up 30 spots to #6.

The biggest fall was experienced by SCA’s The Hot Breakfast – the podcast format of Triple M Melbourne’s Breakfast show, which was axed today. It fell 27 spots on the overall list to #61.

Wondery’s This is Actually Happening also fell 27 spots to #84.

Other new podcasts entering the ranking include Hidden Brain from Stitcher (#46), Beautiful Stories From Anonymous People also from Stitcher (#81), The Money Cafe with Kirby and Kohler from News Corp (#86), Sky News – Credlin (#90), News Corp’s Healthy-ish (#93), and F1: Beyond The Grid from Audioboom (#95).

Participating publishers in the Australian Ranker include ARN/iHeartMedia, Southern Cross Austereo, News Corp Australia, Audioboom, Stitcher, Wondery, Nova, Nine, SEN / Crocmedia, Schwartz Media, TOFOP Productions, Kinderling Kids Radio, Australian Radio Network, Wavelength Creative, NBC News, West Australian Newspapers, and Fear and Greed.
