ACE Radio stations rule in first Warrnambool Xtra Insights Survey of 2025

ACE Radio stations Coast FM and 3YB FM have both increased their overall listener numbers in the first Xtra Insights Survey of 2025 for Warrnambool.

Coast FM was the station listened to most among all people, up a whopping 10.9% to 41.8.

Combined audience for the two stations has grown by 9,500 since the last survey in 2022 to a total of 48,600 people each week.

Coast FM surged ahead with a cumulative audience of 38,700 listeners; a significant increase of nearly 12,000 people compared with the last survey.

3YB FM also recorded solid growth, now reaching 22,400 listeners, up by almost 3,000 since 2022.

Coast FM’s Morning Crew with Gabi & Dan continue to dominate the Breakfast timeslot (+5.6 to 37), with a station also enjoying strong gains across Mornings, Afternoons and Drive.

3YB’s Morning Rush was second with 18.2 and Local ABC third (-3.1 to 4.0)

Coast FM and 3YB FM General Manager Michael Duncan said “These results highlight the loyalty of our local audience and the value of providing quality radio content.
