Jase & PJ to go national on KIIS FM from tonight

Incoming KIIS 101.1 Breakfast team Jase Hawkins and PJ Harding will also be heard across the KIIS Network from tonight.

It was Jase and PJ’s senior producer Rami Mustafa that broke the news on Instagram.

“Melbourne’s had a taste for the past 2 weeks… but guess what? You can also get a dose of @jaseandpj weeknights 8pm to 10pm around the country from tomorrow!”

Australian Radio Network has since confirmed the news with Radio Today, saying a highlights show will indeed air on all five stations each weeknight between 8pm and 10pm.

The KIIS Network incudes KIIS 106.5 Sydney, KIIS 101.1 Melbourne, 97.3FM Brisbane, Mix 102.3 Adelaide and 96FM Perth.

The last show to be given a nightly replay was Rove McManus and Sam Frost during their Breakfast stint on the Hit Network’s 2DayFM Sydney.

The last breakfast show that got a run on nights was Rove and Sam.

They are trying to give Jase and PJ a profile and I know it’s early Days, but not sure there are many highlights yet.

Well I listened tonight, and having listened to Jase previously on Brisbane radio, it seemed like he never left. It was quite an enjoyable way to spend the evening.

Wasn’t the last show to have a nightly replay Em & Harley?? It would have been from around Mid-year onwards before Ash London Live shift.

Isn’t Kyle & Jackie O’s Hour of Power just a nightly replay of their breakfast show? And on the KIIS Network. Fitzy & Wippa also have a replay of their show on Nova. Em & Harley were replayed last year on Hit Network. And isn’t Jonesy & Amanda’s Afternoon Delight their breakfast replay on Gold/WS?

Seems to me that breakfast show replays are hardly unusual. What is different this time is that Jase & PJ are not just another Sydney show, but a Melbourne breakfast show getting a national (and even international thanks to NZ) replay.

They’re a great show, deserving of a bigger national audience. Personally, I’d have put them in the Drive slot. They would have provided much stronger competition against the other networks.

They’re also playing it on their old station ZM in New Zealand

Jase sounds very clear, nice & natural PJ I find hard to understand sometimes what she says as she talks quickly & sometimes mumbles.
But upon saying that it is early days & could be just nerves. Give them a few more weeks. They should be good. Good luck guys
