2018 SCA Graduate Internship awarded to Katie Fleming
Katie Fleming has been announced as the winner of the 2018 SCA Graduation Internship award.
This is the third year that AFTRS and Southern Cross Austereo have partnered to select one talented graduate from the Australian Film Television and Radio School’s flagship
Graduate Diploma of Radio course.
Katie will now be hosted for a special internship with SCA, which will include six weeks, full-time, paid employment at a regional radio station owned by SCA.
SCA head of regional content Mickey Maher says the award the award aims to offer real hands-on experience, working within one of the biggest media companies in the country.
“We are thrilled and honoured to again be able to continue to offer an AFTRS student this opportunity,” he said.
“SCA is committed to recruiting and developing people who have the potential to be the best in their field and this program is a great foundation to kick-start their future careers in the industry.”
