Will ‘I love Star FM Dubbo!’ guy get the gig ?

Yesterday we told you about Brad Guy, a Melbourne guy whose inventive approach to his job application to do breakfast at Star FM Dubbo is getting talked about across the industry today.

We spoke with station Content Director Dave Evans who says:

"I had calls from mates in the industry last night telling me to get on Radio Today and check him out. When I did I was gobsmacked. They were all saying I should give him a go."

"He had also officially applied which is great, so I spoke with him this morning and he was shocked to hear from me. I told him 'that's the sort of stuff you don't see in radio anymore, I thought that breed was extinct – it was excellent'"

Star FM also spoke with Brad on their breakfast show this morning and posted the video on Facebook asking their listeners whether he should be Kellsey's new co-host. See here.

The response so far from Dubbo looks to be positive.

Brad has definitely caught the eye of Evans so we'll wait and see whether the gig is his.
