“We’re thinking of having another one.” Nova’s Jase & Lauren catch up with Australia’s oldest new dad

This morning on Nova 100’s Jase & Lauren, Jase Hawkins, Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway caught up with Australia’s oldest new dad John Levin and his wife Yanying.

The 93-year-old Melbourne doctor spoke candidly about life with their new baby boy, revealing that he and Yanying are even thinking about having another child.

Clint: What was it like holding that baby boy in your arms?

John: Unbelievable. I have 10 grandchildren anyway, and I shouldn’t tell, one of my grandchildren’s quite famous.

Lauren: Oh, who’s the celebrity in the family?

John: She’s a star on Channel 10 …  Sophia Levin. She’s a [Masterchef] judge.. she’s my oldest grandchild!

Lauren: How long do you think you can extend your life? And what are the things you’re doing for longevity?

John: Pretty sure I could go to 105.

Clint: Does having a child this late in life keep you young, do you think?

John: Absolutely.

Clint: Would you do it again?

John: Well we’re thinking of another one. We’d like to have a little girl.
