Triple M’s Marto, Margaux & Dan help out flood victim and tradie

This morning on Brisbane’s Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux & Dan, Breakfast host and former rugby player Greg ‘Marto’ Martin put his neck on the line to help out young tradie Reggie Matthews from Bray Park.

Marto called on his mate and former Triple M team member Peter Timbs at Total Tools, who in turn challenged Marto to write an ad as a sweetener for his $2000 donation of tools to replace the ones Reggie lost in the flood.

Marto said “I understood this guy’s pain. I mean, he needs those tools, otherwise he can’t make any money.”

Thanking the team, Reggie said “That will help so much. But you know what would really help? If people come around … help the locals clean things out. All these houses need to be gutted. There’s all mud through everywhere.”
