Triple M Perth give away a truly crappy prize

A month ago 92.9 Triple M Perth invited listeners to nominate a “mate” to win the worst prize ever. This was a tribute to a previous comp where a winner received $15K. The only problem was that it was all in coins and embedded in concrete.

This morning, Friday August 23, Breakfast hosts Xav & Michelle announced the winner at an OB at an op shop in Osborne Park run by the appropriately named 1800-Got-Junk. It was Michael ‘Frizey’, who was nominated by a team mate Reese, for unnecessary and over the top celebrations every time he scores a goal in a football match.

And Frizey’s prize was the stinker I was hoping for.

He opened the disheveled box to reveal A GOLDEN POO.

A literally crappy ornament made from 229 grams of 9 carat gold, purchased for a whopping $15,000!

Frizey loved it, saying:

“Holy Moly! That’s the most beautiful poop I’ve ever seen! I might put that one on the mantlepiece and show the boys!”
