Triple M Kalgoorlie lands new Breakfast host Blayne Treadgold

Former Assistant Editor
Triple M Blayne Treadgold

Blayne Treadgold has been named as the new host of Triple M Goldfields Breakfast, having recently graduated from North Metropolitan TAFE.

The station’s new Blayne For Breakfast show will begin from Wednesday, August 12, and is set to be heard Esperance on Triple M 747AM as well as Kalgoorlie on Triple M 918AM. Each station will support the show with specific local content.

Treadgold said he’s excited for his dream start in radio with Triple M. “I’m super excited to get started in the Goldfields/Esperance regions, especially with such an awesome, iconic network like Triple M.

“I’m hugely grateful for the opportunity and to land my first professional radio gig!” he added.

Treadgold fills a void on Triple M Kalgoorlie Breakfast which has been vacant for several months, with Ray Love covering in the meantime. He’ll continue to host other shifts across the Triple M Network.

Triple M North West group content director, Dan Cole, said he’s looking forward to building a fresh new Breakfast show with Treadgold.

“We are really excited to be launching a new breakfast show for Kalgoorlie/Esperance and Blayne is a great fit for the region, having worked FIFO in a former life before deciding to chase his dream in commercial radio,” he said.

“We will be focusing heavily on local content while still delivering that great sound and music that people expect from the Triple M brand.”

Blayne for Breakfast will air Weekdays from 6am-9am on Triple M Kalgoorlie and Esperance.
