New leadership roles at ACE Radio’s Gippsland stations
The ACE Radio Network’s leadership structure in Gippsland is undergoing some changes.

With new content opportunities on the horizon, including upcoming FM conversions for several markets, Mat Cummins – General Manager of TR FM and Gippsland’s Gold (pictured above) – will now focus on his role as Group Content Director for the network’s regional stations.
Andrew ‘Howie’ Howe (main photo) will assume the role of General Manager for TR FM and Gippsland’s Gold.
ACE Radio Network CEO Mark Taylor says Howie – who has been with the station for over 20 years -has demonstrated exceptional leadership of the sales team.
“His strong relationships with Gippsland clients have significantly contributed to our sales success.”
“The collaboration between Mat and Howie during this transition will ensure a seamless handover and maintain familiarity for our clients and staff.”
Cummins says “I am grateful for the support from the Board, Executive, and Gippsland team over the past five years. I am excited about the opportunities we have with content as FM conversion nears for several markets.”
“Additionally, having worked alongside Howie for nearly 14 years, I am confident that the station, clients, and local team are in excellent hands.”
Howie says “I would like to thank Rowly, Judy and the Board for their support with my promotion to General Manager at TR FM and Gippsland’s Gold. I am extremely excited to continue working with the Gippsland team and to build on the success that Mat has created. We have a lot to achieve over the next 12 months.”
Congratulations to Howie on being promoted to the General Manager position for TRFM and Gippsland’s Gold. Howie and Mat are both exceptional leaders of one of the best radio stations in regional Australia (that being TRFM, a radio station I grew up listening to and still hold close to my heart). Mat is the nicest guy in the Latrobe Valley and he understands the needs and wants of regional radio listeners really well and that has been the case for more than a decade and especially prevalent during his time at TRFM/Gold. You two do incredible work and I wish Howie and Mat all the best with their professional futures.
