Triple M Hot Breakfast announces Wil Anderson as Mick Molloy replacement
Radio’s worst kept secret has been confirmed, with Wil Anderson announced as Mick Molloy’s replacement on Triple M’s Hot Breakfast.
Dubbed the number one draft pick of Australian comedy, Anderson will join Eddie McGuire and Luke Darcy from October 23 off the back of an already successful career in Australian broadcast media, including his podcast TOFOP.
“Huge shoes to fill, even if those shoes sometimes only take 43 steps in a day,” Anderson joked as he was introduced on-air this morning.
“Wil is one of the funniest and most respected comedians in the country,” Triple M’s Head of Content Mike Fitzpatrick said.
“That, combined with his passion for music and footy, makes him the perfect fit to sit alongside Eddie and Darc.”
