triple j’s Liam Stapleton gets early Liverpool EPL champions tattoo

It’s not uncommon for sports fans to get tattoos commemorating championships, but triple j‘s Liam Stapleton appears to have jumped the gun in a big way.

With the final round of the English Premier League to take place in a matter of hours, Liam is pretty confident that his team, Liverpool, can overcome the odds and win the league.

So confident that he got ‘Liverpool FC Champions ’19’ tattooed on his arm.

Liverpool are currently just one point behind league leaders Manchester City, and need the Mancunians to drop points at Brighton, while they, in turn, must defeat Wolves.

Sounds simple enough right? The only problem is that City have won 13 on the trot and Brighton aren’t exactly world beaters.

None of that appears to have deterred Liam, and only time will tell whether this was a genius prediction or pure idiocy.
