triple j asks listeners to jacketoff for charity

The Doctor from triple j is asking listeners to donate jumpers, cardigans or any old clothes to charity.

His campaign is called Jacket Off and aims to help charities like Lifeline, Red Cross, the Salvos, Smith Family and St Vinnies.

Listeners can send photos in to triple j or post on social media with the hastag #jacketoff for their chance to be listed on the station’s Wall of Fame.

Musicians have been getting in on the act and helping to spread the message.
