TRIBE hires former Macquarie Media sales boss Nick Randall

Former Assistant Editor

Nick Randall, former sales director of Fairfax Radio Network and Macquarie Media, has secured a new role at TRIBE.

Influencer platform TRIBE has announced Randall as their new chief revenue officer, reports Mumbrella, while also revealing former Huffpost commercial director Sammy Lewis as their new sales director.

TRIBE was founded in 2015 by former radio personality Jules Lund.

Randall played a key role of the merger between Macquarie Radio Network and Fairfax Radio Network in 2015, and has also spent a significant chunk of time at Southern Cross Austereo in his early career.

In 2016 Randall was appointed commercial director of Australian first podcast platform Whooshkaa, a position he will continue to hold.

“The Tribe proposition of premium content at unprecedented scale, unparalleled speed and at a fraction of the cost is something I cannot wait to introduce to brands around the world,” said Randall.

“Nick’s commencement at Tribe couldn’t have come at a more opportune time,” added TRIBE CEO Anthony Svirskis.

“Over two and a half years, the growth in our core Australia and UK markets has been beyond expectation and we now require additional layers of maturity to transition from a fast growth start-up into a sophisticated mar-tech solution.”
