Toni and Ryan announced for Podcast Day 24 in Sydney

Podcast Day 24 has announced that Australian podcasting powerhouse duo Toni & Ryan will be live on stage in Sydney, talking about everything from radio to their podcast and the multimillion-dollar deal with Spotify. 

Toni and Ryan have built a cult following for their podcast since launching in August 2021, in less than a year they clocked 1.3 million downloads in a single month. 

How did they make the leap from radio to podcast, what can we learn about the role of video or ‘vodcasts’ and how do they plan to keep innovating since signing with Spotify are some of the topics to be explored. 

Prithi Dey from Spotify will be chairing the discussion.

The Sydney event will take place on October 4th this year and will feature heavy hitters from the podcast and radio world, from both the national and international media community.

Three in-person conferences; Sydney, London and New York – all on the same day, will bring together the top broadcasters, publishers, platforms and technology companies from around the globe.

Over 20 speakers will appear in Sydney, plus over 100 speakers and sessions worldwide that can be accessed as part of the Catch-Up video package.
