Tim Webster back on the airwaves at ABC Radio Sydney

Tim Webster says he’s thrilled to be hosting the first of several summer gigs tomorrow afternoon (Thursday, December 8), filling in for Josh Szeps on ABC Radio Sydney.
On being back on the airwaves, Webster said on social media “I have some wonderful friends, colleagues, old bosses, radio tragics and former listeners who have been so supportive of me returning to the wireless. It will be an honour.”
“It might be a bit precious of me, but I thought I wasn’t going to be on the wireless in my 50th year in the biz … now, I will be.”

Loving Tim Webster’s voice and style. Trevor is amazing and should never retire.(sorry Trevor) Well not until I die anyway. Rod Quinn is usually great unless he is tired or angry. Tim Webster has “The Voice ” like Trevor . Some need to slow down and speak clearly. My hearing isn’t great so that is important to me. Love the ABC Radio over night. I’m a new listener to ABC Radio,in my 85 years.So extremely pleasant not to hear all the” rubbish” attached to other news commentary you hear . Very surprised and pleased to hear Tim Webster, amongst all the other newsreaders. Took me a long time, but I’m a big fan .

Tim love your show. Wish you were on more frequently, and earlier. I am not a night owl, it’s a battle to stay alert all through the night, esp when I need to get going early in the mornings. Best wishes.

A very proffessional and polished presenter I will be tuning in to listen to Tim
Tim’s winners bell is driving me crazy. I listen to the radio to lull me to sleep, I start to drift of when suddenly I’m wide awake with a bell ringing in my ears. Is it possible to have it stopped ✋️ I’m going crazy. PLEASE TIM GIVE IT UP. it serves no useful purpose
