Tim Lordan starts new role as Program Director at Perth’s 6iX
Tim Lordan this week embarked on a new radio role as Program Director at Perth’s 6iX.
Lordan is an ACRA-winning announcer and ACRA-nominated Program Director, with over 25 years of radio experience. He’s also a familiar voice to the people of Perth, having previously worked at Mix94.5 for 13 years, consistently rating #1 in his Morning and Afternoon shifts during that period.
After his role as Afternoons host and Assistant Content Director at the SCA station officially wrapped up in September, Radio Perth and the Capital Radio Network recently announced Lordan would be joining the 6iX team.
Lordan says “6IX is quite simply a legendary Perth media brand! It’s a pleasure to be joining this dedicated team and I can’t wait to serve 6IX’s incredibly loyal listener and client base.”
6IX General Manager Simon Rosaman says “We’re pumped to make Tim the latest addition to our super talented team. He has a wealth of experience on-air and off, and will contribute greatly as we continue to build on 6IX’s strong market position.”
In addition to his Program Director duties, Tim will also be heard on-air from 9am weekdays, following 6IX’s Classic Breakfast with Nat and Westo.
Honestly 6ix need a name change, plus get rid of forever classic.
