The Radio Fanboy Podcast with Bevo returns
After a six month break, Lee Bevington’s, The Radio Fanboy Podcast with Bevo has returned.
Launched in July 2020, The Radio Fanboy Podcast with Bevo was created to talk to the people Lee admires in radio and have the relevant radio fanboy conversations.
In the first episode back, the former SCA Fraser Coast Content Director and 103.5 Triple M afternoon announcer talks to guest, Paul ‘Campo’ Campion from River 949 in Ipswich about his radio journey.
In December 2019, Bevo’s role on the Fraser Coast was made redundant by SCA’s national mass redundancies. Before that, he was on the Sunshine Coast at 92.7 MixFM on and off air as an outside broadcast technician and prior to that, morning announcer and music director across the road at Hot91.
Lee continues his passion for radio with his business Lee Bevington Media. Offering voiceovers and on-air talent for radio, television and podcasts.

Itd be nice if Bevo got some actual diversity on this season and not just his old white radio pals from yesteryear.
Thanks ‘Everyone’! Is he obliged by his shareholders? Is there some sort of governing body that could regulate Lee’s diversity qouta while he works away quietly in his garage studio? If not, maybe you could put your hand up! I’m sure he’d appreciate your opinion and thoughts.
Keep up the great work, Bevo!!
@Everyone – feel free to start your own podcast to fill that ‘diversity’ you seek. I’m confident Bevo has asked other talent to be interviewed, but who have declined for one reason or another.
