The Hits make Christmas brighter for a New Zealand family

New Zealand radio station ‘The Hits’ has been doing an annual tactic called ‘Polly & Grant’s Break & Enter Christmas’ for over 10-years now.

The concept is that the station identifies a famlly, through submissions from listeners about families they know, who will be doing it tough at Christmas for whatever reason.

Following some kind of ruse to get them out of the house, the Hits team ‘Flynny (Drive co-host) and his elves’ completely make over the families house with a tree, presents, whitegoods, furniture, groceries, decorations – pretty much everything to ensure they can have a Christmas to enjoy that they otherwise may not have.

On Friday just gone, it was ‘break and enter’ day. And this one’s a real heartstring puller.
