The Fox brings back the $100,000 secret sound
Melbourne’s 101.9 The Fox is bringing back the $100,000 Secret Sound to change one listener’s world with the massive prize.
Announced today on The Fox’s breakfast show, Fifi, Fev & Nick, the only thing that will stand between the listeners and $100,000 is one ambiguous sound and the guess that could change their life.
The Fox 101.9 has been home of the Secret Sound for decades and is so well-known across the city even Kath & Kim from Fountain Lakes called in to play, winning their way to The Fox’s World Famous Rooftop.
“To give one of our amazing listeners the chance to win $100,000 is an incredible prize! After what has been a tough couple of years for a lot of people in our city, in so many ways, we can’t wait to play the ultimate guessing game and hand over a life-changing amount of cash,” Fifi Box said.
Co-host, Brendan ‘Fev’ Fevola, said: “The Secret Sound is my favourite game! I get so excited to give the cash away, the bosses don’t trust me to know the sound.”
“I’m pumped to finally play the Secret Sound… unfortunately the producers wouldn’t give me the answer to the sound, even when I offered them upwards of fifty bucks!” co-host Nick Cody said.

Really?? Come on – some of the crap they do and say is so stupid and not at all funny or even fresh its all recycled shit…… Who really cares about MAFS….. Or who cares about someone’s sex life, or things that the normal everyday person wouldn’t care abut etc…… I don’t want to hear shit like that – And you wonder why radio is going down the drain in the past few years with shit like that ……. I rather have music playing constantly and not have the announcers talk talk talk…… if I wanted that I would switch over to talk back radio!! – You have turned me off radio completely !
