‘Spoonman’ leaves Triple M Hobart

Triple M Hobart Breakfast

Triple M Hobart today confirmed Breakfast host, Brian ‘Spoonman’ Carlton has left the station.

SCA Executive General Manager Victoria and Tasmania, Ally Bradley, says, “We would like to thank Brian for his commitment to our listeners through his Breakfast show on Triple M Hobart. The last couple of years have been a particularly challenging time and I know he has given it his all.”

Carlton says, “I am taking an extended break from all work for health reasons and sincerely thank SCA for their support and understanding. What a privilege it has been to broadcast to the people of my favourite city on Triple M, despite these very tough times.”

Phil Bradley will fill in on the Triple M Hobart Breakfast show until a replacement is announced.

Clearly was not popular with his audience, too opinionated and got stuck on the same pointless issues that he had self interest in over and over again.. example- Vaping!
Ratings would’ve been tanking as well.. only came back on January the 17th and now it’s ill health?
