Sophie, Heath and Normy bring the Hollywood Hills to Newcastle

Friday NXFM’s Sophie, Heath and Normy did the first ever Celebrity Bus Tour of Newcastle. With Newie being home to so many international celebs including Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins, World Surfing Champ Mark Richards and the lads from Silverchair, they thought it was about time the everyday people of Newcastle got to see how the “other half” live. And unlike those Hollywood Hills tours, the guys saw more than just big hedges.

Broadcasting live from the coach with current Celebrity Apprentice and former Miss Universe contestant Tegan Martin and a bunch of loyal listeners, Sophie, Heath and Normy toured the actual site of Jennifer Hawkin’s first pash*, the site of Bachelor Tim Robbards shirtless beach run* and even the very street where Daniel Johns was busted for DUI*. Newcastle Knights legend Mark Hughes boarded the bus (he was actually waiting for the 350 to Hamilton) and the bus very nearly ran over Mark Richards in the Bar Beach Carpark (legit).

Sophie Tiller proclaimed it a success, Normy Dorrell believes it could be a money spinner and Heath Piper, who rang the door bell at the Johns mansion, is currently being questioned by police for stalking.
