Siobhan Siegert & Dave McClung promoted at NOVA in Perth
There has been a number of changes in roles at NOVA Entertainment in Perth.
Company stalwart Siobhan Siegert has taken on the interim role of CREATE national director for campaigns. In the role, she will be tasked with overseeing the campaign output of the branded entertainment division.
The national remit will be in place for 12 months while Jaclyn Shaw is on maternity leave. She will retain all leadership aspects of her permanent role as head of CREATE for Perth and Adelaide.
She will report to Kate Murphy, who is director of commercial strategy for CREATE.
CREATE includes insights, trade communications and commercial partnerships.
NOVA said Siegert’s strategic capability, commercial acumen and extensive leadership experience made her the “obvious choice” for the interim role.
“In these times and within the CREATE network, the acknowledgement and promotion of critical talent isn’t limited by geography,” Murphy said. “Siobhan’s experience and knowledge of what matters to our customers across the country is first-class and her leadership profile makes her the perfect candidate to lead remotely. It’s no secret our Perth team is at the top of their game – the east coast will only benefit from the experience of working even more closely with one of their best.”
Siegert will remain part of Perth’s commercial leadership team alongside Antonell Doyle (commercial director), Nina Santella (head of agency sales) and Josie Cooper (head of direct sales).
In addition, Nova 93.7’s program director, Dave McClung, will officially take on the Perth market lead position, which he has been temporarily acting in since November 2019.
McClung first joined NOVA Entertainment in 2006 as assistant music director in Adelaide. He then moved to Perth as music director. He has been an announcer, as well as assistant program director in the West Australian capital, as well as a brief stint as operations manager in Sydney.
