SENZ sign coverage deal with New Zealand Warriors

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) and SENZ have announced a radio partnership with the New Zealand Warriors Rugby League team, covering the 2023 and 2024 seasons as the Official Sports Radio Partner.

The partnership will provide the opportunity for SENZ to connect with the Warriors’ fanbase, displaying a signage presence at all Warriors’ home games and hosting match day activations.

Additionally, SENZ will cover the One New Zealand Warriors across its various media platforms including 28 national radio frequencies headlined by presenters Brendan McCullum, Tony Kemp, Israel Dagg, Ian Smith, Stephen Donald, Kirstie Stanway, Grant Elliott and Stephen McIvor. This includes match day coverage for every home and away game broadcast via Warriors Live on SENZ platforms.

“At SENZ we are proudly for New Zealand sports fans. Undoubtedly the One New Zealand Warriors are much loved throughout the country, and we are excited to connect their fans with the team with extensive coverage throughout our network, seven days a week,” said SENZ Commercial Director Jess Innes.

“As New Zealand’s home of sport and only dedicated sports media business, this is yet another example of SENZ working directly with one of the most respected sporting organisations in the country to utilise our reach and help share their story across our platforms.”

New Zealand Warriors CEO Cameron George said the club welcomed the opportunity to connect with supporters through SENZ’s platforms.

“Partnering with SENZ comes at a highly significant time as we look forward to our first full season back home since 2019,” he said.

“For us, 2023 is all about reconnecting with fans and the wider community on every level. It’s a new beginning for us after being away from home for so long and our new relationship with SENZ will be critical in helping us achieve that.”
