Footy finals fever is in the air, and Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is gearing up for unprecedented coverage’

Every minute of the 2022 Toyota AFL Finals Series can be heard via the AFL Nation broadcast. This includes broadcast syndication across over 200 stations throughout Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

SEN’s AFL Nation commentary for the upcoming finals series will also be available for listeners across nationwide SEN airwaves including SEN 1116am (Melbourne), SEN Tasmania 1629am (Hobart), SEN 1170am (Sydney), SENQ 693am (Brisbane) and SEN WA 657am (Perth).

SEN Chief Sports Caller Gerard Whateley headlines the commentary line-up, bringing fans all the action across the SEN stations, digital channels and the SEN App, beginning with tonight’s clash between Brisbane and Richmond.

Anthony Hudson, Dwayne Russell, Andy Maher and Gerard Healy are just some callers fans can expect to hear during the finals, alongside expert analysis from greats of the game including Luke Hodge, Dermott Brereton and Kane Cornes.

Sports Entertainment Network Chief Executive Craig Hutchison says SEN is looking forward to bringing listeners along on the four-week finals journey.

“After 23 gruelling rounds of footy, only eight teams remain on the path to premiership glory, and we are excited to bring the fans every moment of the action across the SEN network and via AFL Nation regionally.”

“There’s a buzz around town, especially in Melbourne, where the finals return following a two-year absence. There’s no doubt the passion of the crowds will beam through to everyone listening, adding to the already intense, edge-of-your-seat drama that finals footy provides.”

SEN is also the home of AFLW, with matches of each round of Season 7 to be broadcast via the SEN airwaves and app.
