Second time around for life changing $100,000 Secret Sound

This morning on Melbourne’s 101.9 The Fox breakfast show, Fifi, Fev & Nick announced the station’s famous ‘Secret Sound’ will be played for the city once again as they hand over another $100k cheque to a local listener.

Cathy from the Melbourne suburb of Burwood was driving her kids to school yesterday when she rang the station by chance, correctly guessing the station’s ‘Secret Sound,’ which was ‘closing the lid of the fire alarm after changing the batteries.’

She won an instant $100,000 cash.

“It’s life changing. We’ve had a hard few years, (my husband) Pete’s health hasn’t been fantastic and it’s been a bit tough for a while,” says Cathy.

“We’ll go for a family holiday definitely!”
