Sarah Morice to join Dicko on 2UE Breakfast

2UE have announced that joining Ian 'Dicko' Dickson for breakfast in 2013 will be journalist, Sarah Morice, who was the recipient of the Brian White Memorial award at last years ACRA's.

2UE are clearly looking to contrast the team with 2GB's Alan Jones, with General Manager Chris Parker saying that Dicko and Sarah would provide a point of difference and a 'genuine entertaining news alternative' for Sydney.

Parker went on to say:

“Sydneysiders are keen to understand, connect and participate in the conversation about a range of issues, while also wanting to be entertained. In Dicko and Sarah we have the on air team in 2013 to provide them with that”

“Sarah is the brightest young talent to emerge from within 2UE in years – she will bring a fresh and unique news perspective to the breakfast timeslot."

“She is an extremely talented and well respected journalist, having recently been awarded the prestigious Brian White Memorial Award for excellence in journalism."

Dicko commented:

“This is definitely one of the biggest things I’ve tackled in my professional career. I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with 2UE listeners over the past few months and the experience has been extremely rewarding."
